Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus Review AM AH 1 8

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 owners rejoice. Because a new update is live for Galaxy Note 10 models, i.e. the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G are bagging the latest December 2021 security update.

While we are soon approaching the end of this year, it seems like the Galaxy Note 10 owners, who had December 2021 security update on their wishlist, have one more reason to enjoy this holiday season.

Notably, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series on Verizon, which includes the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G, received the November 2021 security update just a week ago.

This is the initial stage of the rollout for carrier models of the Galaxy Note 10 series. We expect more carriers to join the bandwagon soon and deliver the December 2021 security update.

According to the latest report, the entire Galaxy Note 10 series is picking up the December 2021 update via OTA.

As per the official changelog, the updates for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series are purely incremental in nature. Meaning it doesn’t bring any new features for the device.

The December 2021 update for Verizon Galaxy Note 10 models arrives with build FUKA

Talking about the firmware version, the December 2021 security update for the Verizon Galaxy Note 10 models arrives with build number FUKA.

It simply bumps the security patch level to December 1, 2021. We advise that you install the latest security update on your eligible device as the latest December 2021 security update fixes several security and privacy-related vulnerabilities.

For more in-depth information about the December security update, you can head over to the official Samsung Security Bulletin website by clicking here.

As usual, the update is rolling out via OTA in batches. This means it won’t be live for all devices simultaneously and will take its own time before knocking doors of every Verizon Galaxy Note 10 series model.

However, you can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > About device > Software updates. If the system detects a new update, then you can hit the Download button to install the latest update.

To recall, the Galaxy Note 10 series was launched back in 2019. The lineup came with Android 9 Pie out of the box and received its first firmware update as Android 10. Later it bagged the Android 11 update earlier this year.

As far as the Android 12 One UI 4 beta program is concerned, it is expected to soon go live for the entire Galaxy Note 10 series. The beta program is already live in South Korea.
