If you're using your ZenFone to watch Netflix but you're not getting the quality you expect, or the video is blurry or grainy, follow the steps below to determine if your device plays in high definition (HD).
- Please check if your Netflix plan support HD availiable or Ultra HD availiable. And contact APP vendor to change the plan if needed.
- Check ZenFone specification. Widevine L1 is required for HD playback in Netflix. To check this: Open the Netflix app on your Android phone or tablet. From the bottom right corner, tap More More menu > App Settings. Scroll to the bottom, then tap Playback Specification. Next to Widevine, you'll see either L1 or L3.
- If you see L1 but you're not getting HD playback, please contact APP for solution.
- If you see L3, Please check if the Unlock device service be triggerred. Once the device unlocked, some digital contact may not longer be used. And only Widevine L3 digital right provided.
